Bouquet doily
Like Take Seven,
this is a doily based on a heptagonal fractal pattern. It is built from split rings exclusively. The project was very error prone, as well as totally boring to work. That's why it took me four years to complete. I did at most 24 split rings per week before I got fed up with it again. Below you see the doily when I just started it, four year before finishing it.
