Block Flake snowflake

This is my first encounter with block tatting. Is it going to be yours too?

Materials DMC No. 40, two shuttles.
Size This snow flake's diameter is 7 cm (almost 3 inches).
Description

I assume that you are familiar with block tatting. Therefore, in the description below, I don't explicitly mention that you turn the work after each chain in a block. Also, I don't mention that you should form a small picot between the first and second half of the first double stitch in the chains. Good luck!
