This is a doily from 1992. It's got lots of (self-closing) mock rings. I did it in DMC Cordonnet Special No. 80. This thread size gives the doily a size of 24 cm (10 inches). You can find the description of this doily in Georgia Seitz's Tatting with Friends.
Below is Wally Sosa's version! She used Oren Bayan No. 70. She mounted it on a brass ring. The final measure is 12 inches.
And here is the version by Mark Myers (also known as the Tatman!). He used the same colours as in the Dutch flag!
