This cross is my first encounter with dimpled rings. Actually, I didn't really make dimpled rings, but dimpled mock rings instead! Only once, I made a mistake, and did a real dimpled ring - and I wouldn't know which one it is! Can you spot it? Probably not, it looks exactly the same. It's just that I find the dimpled mock ring easier to work... The greatest length of this cross measures 17 cm (approximately 7 inch), and I used Anchor No. 60 for it.
Below you see a coloured version done with DMC Special Dentelles No. 80. I found out that when using colours, it is better to tat real dimpled rings. It gives a better separation of colours. The length of this one is 13.5 cm (5.5 inch more or less).
