This is a large oval doily that I've started in 1989 and finished in 1991. It is done in MEZ 100. I used only one shuttle techniques here, so no chains. It has a peculiar use of mignonette stitch - by just doing one round, you get a kind of ribbon. Also, this doily has needle lace fillings reminding of early tatting from the 19th century. Its length is 50 cm (approximately 20 inch).
