Horse Chestnut bookmark

One of Riet Surtel's challenges was to have members of the Dutch Tatting Guild come up with a design incorporating the daisy picot technique. Above you see my contribution. Parts of the design reminded me of horse chestnut tree leaves, hence the name. I made because my son needed a really large bookmark. I used DMC Special Dentelles No. 80 for it. Besides daisy picots, it features split rings. It measures 9 by 2 inches. Now this is the first daisy picots I ever did in my life, so please apologize me if they look a bit sloppy!
