This is a big doily that I've always considered my masterpiece. After tatting this one, I often couldn't imagine ever having the patience again to tat something as big as this (but, have a look at Sacré Coeur, finished in 2010). Its diameter is almost 50 cm. I used DMC Cordonnet Special No. 80. It's got some interesting techniques: net stitch and node stitch. The pattern of this doily is in my second book (Floriade).
